IC3K 2010

IC3K 2010 (International Joint Conference on Knowledge Discovery, Knowledge Engineering and Knowledge Management) has currently an open call for papers, whose deadline is on May 20, 2010. We hope you can participate in this prestigious conference by submitting a paper reflecting your current research.

Organized by the Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control and Communication (INSTICC), IC3K 2010 will be held in Valencia, Spain, next October 25 - 28, and it aims at becoming a top reference for researchers and practitioners in its area (http://www.ic3k.org). If we live in the knowledge society and most enterprise activity is knowledge work, it is more important than ever to discover, understand and optimize our knowledge resources.

This meeting will take place yearly, bringing together top researchers and practitioners in knowledge technologies, especially those related to Knowledge Discovery, Knowledge Engineering and Knowledge Management.
The three main topic areas have been defined as concurrent and co-located sub-conferences of IC3K, namely:
- Knowledge Discovery and Information Retrieval (http://www.kdir.ic3k.org/)
- Knowledge Engineering and Ontology Development (http://www.keod.ic3k.org/)
- Knowledge Management and Information Sharing (http://www.kmis.ic3k.org/)

Submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and on CD-ROM support.
A short list of presented papers will be selected so that revised and extended versions of these papers will be published by Springer-Verlag in a CCIS Series book.
The proceedings will be indexed by several major international indexes. We are awaiting confirmation of Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index, INSPEC, DBLP and EI.

The conference program will include a number of Keynote Lectures delivered by distinguished world-class researchers. Their names will be announced soon at the conference website (http://www.ic3k.org).

Best paper awards will be distributed during the conference closing session.

All published papers will be also available at the SciTePress' Digital Library, which will be made available shortly.
