As part of M&K Update?s 2010 multi-speaker conference programme we are in the planning stages of a national event exploring innovative practice and excellence in identifying, assessing and managing deteriorating acutely ill patients who may not be in an identified critical care setting.

Through a series of presentations (and possibly workshops) this multi-speaker event aims to explore initiatives, case studies, developments and experiences of organisations and teams from the around the country. The aim is to offer the attendee evidence based information, data, tool-kits and experience to take back to their place of work.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
* Nurses, physiotherapists and associated health professionals working in acute settings
* Out of hours teams, outreach teams, resuscitation team members and site practitioners/hospital at night professionals
* Workforce planning & quality professionals, NHS and independent care managers
* Educationalists ? learning and development teams, college lecturers

EVENT STRUCTURE:
* A series of seven presentations along with poster presentation area
* If possible additional plenary sessions may be included.
