Colleagues are warmly invited to attend the Leeds Met annual assessment, learning and teaching conference. The themes for the conference will be: Tuesday 7th Day One:? Finding Creative Solutions to Difficult Dilemmas? Highlights: * Keynote - Professor Margaret Price of Oxford Brookes University, ?Feedback: all that effort but what is the effect?? * Inaugural Lecture - Professor Ruth Pickford, Leeds Metropolitan University, ?Back to basics: an academic perspective on making higher education work:? * Conference Dinner Wednesday 8th Day Two: ?Challenging Accepted Wisdom: Seeking Alternative Solutions? Highlights: * Keynote - Professor Royce Sadler of Griffith Institute of Higher Education, Australia, ?The front end of formative assessment: task, design and specification? The programme of each day will include selected workshops and presentations and will start at 9.30am each day.
