The DDU educational awards - 17 November 2010

Nominate an excellent teacher today for your chance to receive:

* £1,000 for your dental school/foundation scheme
* an iPod Touch just for you

As a dental student, recent dental graduate or member of the dental faculty, you can vote for a teacher/colleague that has had the most positive educational impact, through exemplary teaching, on you or your school.

All nominations will be entered into our prize draw. Closing date: 31 August 2010.

Award categories
The two categories are:

* Dentist Teacher of the Year
* DCP Teacher of the Year

Winners in each category will win:

* £1000 towards the cost of educational materials for their dental school or VT scheme

Winners and finalists in each category will each receive:

* £250
* A trophy
* Certificate

The DDU Educational Awards and Ceremony
The DDU Awards recognise and reward outstanding dental educators who teach under/post-graduate dentists within dental schools and dental foundation schemes. The winners will be selected and announced at the DDU Educational Awards ceremony.

The Awards ceremony will be held in London on 17 November 2010 and includes a programme of presentations from leading dental figures and educationalists. Dental educationalists and students are welcome to attend the ceremony to support the finalists and acquire up to 4 hours of verifiable CPD.
