Heath family grant (Anaesthetic Research Society (ARS) )

AIM

The award is tenable within the United Kingdom and must be performed under the auspices of an Academic Department of Anaesthesia. Publications arising from the award should acknowledge the support of the ARS. Heath Family grants will be considered to a maximum of £4,000.

Any individual directly employed by the grant will be expected to devote the majority of his or her time to the research project. The ARS accepts no liability in a claim for compensation for unfair dismissal or a redundancy payment arising from the expiry of the award; contracts of employment will, therefore, normally require the prospective employee, in accordance with paragraph 142, (i) and (ii), of the Employment (Consolidation) Act, 1978, to waive the right to exercise such claims.
