The National Institute for Social Care and Health Research (NISCHR) is offering a number of health research PhD studentships. Priority will be given to applications which are relevant to at least one of the following three priority areas:
• Prevention and early intervention
• Chronic conditions management
• Service organisation and delivery
NISCHR would not expect to be asked to support studentships costing more than £60,000.
The deadline for submission of applications is 5pm on 16th September 2010. Final decisions will be announced in December 2010. Applicant’s start date must be either 1st January or 1st April 2011.
Restrictions: The research topic must be health related and should be relevant to at least one of the three priority areas set out above. Applications with translational research relevance are particularly welcome.
