School of Medical Sciences Education Development

The University seeks to appoint a Senior Development Executive – Medical Projects within the Development Trust. The University of Aberdeen Development Trust works closely with the University to attract donations for projects identified as priorities for investment and support.

You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience of cultivating donations for medical research or related areas. Working within the College of Life Sciences and Medicine (CLSM) in conjunction with colleagues throughout the university, you will match prospective donors with areas of interest to generate support and deliver funding in line with the current strategic plan. You will have the capacity to think and work strategically, juggle competing projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of integrity. Regular travel across the UK and occasionally internationally will be required to meet potential donors.

Should you require a visa to undertake paid employment in the UK you will be required to fulfil the minimum points criteria to be granted a Certificate of Sponsorship and Tier 2 visa. As appropriate, at the time an offer of appointment is made you will be asked to demonstrate that you fulfil the criteria in respect of financial maintenance and competency in English.
