Student doctors need to gain experience in postgraduate assessment methods, ie, workplace-based. Unlike the more formal assessments such as the OSCE, Placement-based Assessments are not always well received and can be perceived as unfair by students, and too time consuming by the clinicians asked to be assessors.
This workshop aims to identify and discuss the problems and their solutions in the introduction of Undergraduate Placement Based Assessment.
