Student app development day success

As part of the PublishOER project we held a student app development day, sponsored by Elsevier, to look at ways of creatively useing their content outside of the traditional print paradigm. Computer Science students, both  undergraduate and postgradute, worked hard for 28 hours to come up with new ways of slicing and dicing content for veterinary medicine students. Suzanne live blogged on day one, and Megan did a summary at the end. We are gratful to Elsevier for supplying such great content, and to Chris Trace from the RVC who was on hand to give vet experience both as a student and lecturer. The day was a huge success and we hope to have further impact to report soon.
