Tensions in making resources open
Quality also seems to be linked to the granularity of a resource – conversely, the smaller (more granular) an educational resource is the more context it needs in order to describe it (which may put some depositors off). The more trackable it is the less open it is (someone would need to enter, for example, an email address before downloading, and could be mailed for usage data from time to time, which may put users off).
