FAQ - Are there any resources on the world wide web that offer advice about writing CVs to students?

Answer

Newcastle University Careers Service provides a wealth of information and advice on writing CVs and cover letters, which can be found here.  As well as advice on applying for work experience and posts in higher education employment, they also offer current students and recent Alumni (within 2 years of graduation) free access to experienced careers advisers, mock interview scenarios and CV and cover letter proof reading.

For non-Newcastle students the web offers a whole range of other useful websites, which provide general advice, guidance and employment opportunities.  The list below provide a summary of some of the best resources available on the web for graduates and medical students.
