Purpose: Educational Development

Details: The centre will enhance teaching quality by: • continuing to develop innovative programmes of learning for practice • establishing a core capability-based curriculum, adaptable to mental health and social work, that allows workers to learn together and work together • delivering that curriculum in the workplace via team teaching and mentoring • devising strategies for student support that enhance retention and progression • making sure that other learners beyond mental health and social work professionals are influenced by the CETL's teachers to raise their own thresholds of performance in academic work and in practice.
