Get news delivered

We publish several different types of information as RSS feeds. It is possible to read these feeds on your desktop computer using a piece of software called a newsreader. It is also possible to incorporate views of these feeds into your own websites in such a way that they are always kept up to date.

For a set of instructions to get the output from these feeds on to your site take a look at the RSS-Xpress site.

Another tool for aggregating RSS feeds onto a website using PHP and JavaScript is Feed2JS.

If you wish, you can use our Feed2JS installation to embed our RSS information in your site. Just include the following tagging in your HTML where you wish the feed to appear:

<script
src="http://www.medev.ac.uk/static/feed2js/feed2js.php?src=<The feed URL here >&num=5" type="text/javascript">
</script>

So to embed our News feed in your site use the following tagging:

<script
src=
"http://www.medev.ac.uk/static/feed2js/feed2js.php?src=http://www.medev.ac.uk/static/news_rss_feed.php&num=5" type="text/javascript">
</script>
