Call for mini-project proposals

This mini-project call for proposals is now closed with effect 30 September 2009, coinciding with the small grant funding call from Health Sciences and Practice.

Themes and values

This year the range of themes is limited, reflecting the priorities of HSaP/MEDEV and the four UK funding councils, including:

• Clinical simulation;
• Education in practice/work based learning;
• Education's response to the post devolution healthcare agenda;
• Graduates for the 21st century;
• Internationalisation;
• Interprofessional education in practice;
• Quality enhancement;
• Student engagement in assessment.

The values underpinning MEDEV funding are:

• Support dissemination of good practice to a wider audience;
• Promote collaboration to enhance new and existing partnerships;
• Pump prime feasibility studies in innovative areas where this is clearly aligned with outputs for the subject centre;
• Raise awareness of new national initiatives, recommendations and government policy;
• Promote evaluation and high quality educational research studies including systematic review;
• Promote staff development.
